Based Ipswich with some travel in East Anglia

22.2 hours, salary £15,918.12 per annum (FTE £26,530.20) (Specific times by agreement)

We provide free legal advice, advocacy and representation for victims of all types of unlawful discrimination and harassment in employment and goods and services, who cannot access legal help elsewhere.

We are funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund until 31st August 2019 to provide a service in Suffolk. In addition, we provide a limited service in Norfolk. We also undertake training and awareness-raising.

We wish to recruit a Discrimination Legal Advisor for casework in Ipswich and at outreach clinics. The post would ideally suit a qualified solicitor, barrister or equivalent with some interest in discrimination and employment law (including advocacy at Employment Tribunals) but not necessarily any previous experience. Training will be given.

For a job pack please ring 01473 408111, email or write to Tackling Discrimination in the East, ISCRE, 46a St Matthews Street, Ipswich, IP1 3PE.

For an informal discussion please ask to speak to Audrey Ludwig, Director of Legal Services.

We are an equal opportunities employer.

Deadline for application is close of business on Friday 1st September 2017.
